Feed limestone

Feed limestone  is a natural source of calcium, used as a component in the production of mixed animal and poultry feed. Balanced and properly selected nutrition is fundamental for the development and good health of animals, helping them achieve higher levels of productivity. The product is registered in the database of the Food and Veterinary Service of the Republic of Latvia and has a GMP+ certificate. Available in multiple fractions and packaging types.

‍Recommended doses

The exact daily intake of limestone depends on the animal’s species, productivity, and the main feed used.

Dairy cows: 132–160 g per 24 hrs

Pregnant cows (depending on expected milk production): 199–260 g per 24 hrs

Growing heifers up to 6 months of age: 53.19–87.76 g per 24 hrs

Lambs: 10.64–18.62 g per 24 hrs

Pregnant sheep: 15.96 g per 24 hrs

Pigs: 26.60 g per 24 hrs

Sows: 26.60 g per 24 hrs, plus 2.66–3 g per 24 hrs added for every piglet

Hens: 11.7–12.2 g per 24 hrs

Packaging and delivery

25 kg paper bag, 48 bags on one pallet. Particle sizes available in paper bags: 0–0.4 mm; 0.4–1.2 mm. The minimum order size is one pallet.

Packaging in large bags is available, we also sell product in bulk, delivered in a tanker truck
