Limestone powder for liming

Limestone powder is a slow-acting agent for liming all types of soil, used to raise the pH level and improve soil fertility. The product has a high neutralising capacity of 100% (expressed as calcium carbonate CaCO3 equivalent). Limestone powder is a fine material that can be easily, quickly, and accurately applied to the soil, with even distribution and effective improvements in the soil. The product is added to the soil using equipment for spreading fertilisers. It does not contain the active CaO and MgO substances, so it can be applied at any time, but is especially effective in autumn or early spring. It is particularly recommended for soils that do not need additional magnesium.

Recommended doses

For very acidic soils (pH < 4.5): 0.6–0.7 kg/m2

For moderately acidic soils (pH 4.5–5): 0.4–0.6 kg/m2

For slightly acidic soils (pH 5.1–5.5): 0.2–0.4 kg/m2

For berry bushes: 0.5–0.7 kg

For fruit trees: 2–4 kg

For the preparation of peat mixes: 10–12 kg/m3

Packaging and delivery

Tanker truck, large bag or 25 kg package, 56 bags per one pallet. The minimum order size is one pallet. Smaller quantities of the products packaged in bags can be purchased from our partners’ retail outlets.
