On 29 June, the thirteenth TRACTOR DAY (TRAKTORDIENA) festival took place in the sunny weather of the picturesque Tērvete Parish, a major event for the agricultural industry offering a chance to discover more than 90 agricultural companies, including us, SIA Saulkalne S.
The purpose of the event is to promote the development of Latvia’s agriculture and rural areas, preservation and improvement of the rural environment, more efficient use and management of resources by combining education, production, and practical demonstrations in the field of agriculture, encouraging the sharing of experience among people working in the agricultural sector.
It was a busy day, and the stream of visitors at our booth never stopped, as we discussed the latest news in soil liming and aggregates, and offered valuable advice. Adults and children alike particularly enjoyed the chance to win prizes in a football amusement activity. We’d like to say many thanks to all the guests and the event’s organisers!
