On 11 May this year, all active and sport-loving residents of the municipality, as well as the town’s guests, came together for a race as part of the Salaspils half marathon. This year’s race included five different routes, and Saulkalne S was particularly looking forward to the children’s race, named after our company.
It was an honour for us to support the Salaspils half marathon for the 10th year in a row. This year, the half marathon attracted a record number of participants, which reached 1240. It has always been important for Saulkalne S to support local initiatives, and we are happy to continue with this tradition, which brings together a large number of runners from near and far. 🌟
This year, we were especially happy to see so many children joining the ‘Saulkalne S Children’s Race’, with 270 energetic and smiling young runners taking part. Active and healthy children are the future of our country, and the sport-loving children we met at the race reminded us of how important it is to cultivate the tradition of running in our society!
